The Body of Christ is once again allowed to gather for Mass! There is no obligation, though. If you are ill or at-risk, you are still encouraged to remain home.
Public Masses resume Tuesday, June 2.
Only the Masses at St. Mary’s will be live-streamed, because that’s where the equipment lives. The new live-streaming schedule as of June 2 is:
Tuesday, 7pm
Thursday and Friday, 9am
Sunday, 9am
During live-streamed Masses, the camerapeople will be pointing the cameras at the congregation. All of the seats in the church are accessible to the cameras. There’s nowhere to hide! If you don’t want to be on YouTube, please go to the Masses at St. Joseph’s, which is camera-free.
Beginning June 2, public Masses will be held:
Tuesday, 7pm at St. Mary’s, followed by Adoration and Confession
Wednesday, 9am at St. Joseph’s
Thursday, 9am at St. Mary’s
Friday, 9am at St. Mary’s
Saturday, 3pm Confession and 4pm Mass at St. Joseph’s
Sunday, 9am at St. Mary’s
Seating is limited. 75 people are allowed at St. Mary’s, and 50 at St. Joseph’s. Half of the seating will be reserved seating, so you can sign up at the back of the churches or call the rectory.
Beginning Sunday, June 7 and on Sundays only, Father Peter will be in the parking lot from 10-10:30 to distribute Communion. Watch the streamed Mass, then come to St. Mary’s and pull up to him under the tent to receive.
Further guidelines from the Bishop’s office:
All coffee hours, dinners, and other gatherings remain suspended, but: we’ve missed you so much! Welcome home!
