The children of God cry out for help and deliverance; either from the oppression of wicked men, poverty, sickness, or the deep sadness that comes from sin and loneliness. God hears the cry of his people and sent his own Son to save us. The Son came as a little baby, so most of his people missed his coming. He came in a stable so that it was hard to find him. He came in poverty so that he could hide in obscurity.
In our time people are more in need than ever of a savior, but they have been trained to look to the wealthy, the influential, and the powerful. We should be looking to the least and the littlest, the humble and the poor. That is where God hides and does his greatest work.
This year we celebrated a Christmas Mass in a barn (by the time of this printing). This was to show that, with God, every barn could be a church, the savior could be in any or every man, and the last will be first in the Kingdom of God. Most importantly, we must have faith and believe that God can save and deliver us from every evil, oppression, and sadness. Let us train ourselves through faith to search for the Christ
